I am so happy to report that all of my kids’ school projects for this school year are done. FINALLY! The school year is about to end in a month and so final projects had to be submitted before the final exams begin. It’s the typical end of the school year hecticness that I go through every year, especially this year, which is more mind-blowing knowing that Ziggy is about to be born any day now.
The deadline for the projects isn’t until Friday next week but I was adamant that they be done this week so that the only stuff left for the kids to do is study for the final exams. So, being able to finish the projects was a real accomplishment for me and the kids. Good job Zoe and Ziya!
Zoe was also so proud coming home today. It was already announced in school today that she’s one of those who qualified to vie for honors. In their school, only those vying for honors get to take an extra set of qualifying exams in order to determine the level of honors they are going to get. So, okay, that’s another set of exams aside from the final exams, but I don’t really mind that. She’s running for honors again……year after year after year….. How can a mom not be proud of that?
