It’s the middle of summer but as much as we wanted to go on a vacation, we can’t because we have a barely two-month old baby. This means, of course, that we have to find other activities within the city that the girls can do over the course of the summer. Two weeks ago, they already attended the McDonald’s Kiddie Crew workshop for a whole week and they loved it. It was something they will never forget. However, now that it’s over, the kids are just at home, helping with the chores, taking care of Ziggy while waiting for the next fun activity.
Thankfully, my girls are old enough to know how to amuse themselves while Mommy is busy with the chores and the baby. For the past week, they have been giving me drawings and letters almost every single day, which is really sweet of them. Yesterday, though, they finally opened up this box of toys. This box contains toys that have either been never or rarely played with. There they found beads and strings to make accessories, and so this made their afternoon busy, busy, busy.
Here they are hard at work making bracelets for themselves and for other girls they know.
Here are some of their finished products. Aren’t they pretty?

  5. Hi,

Many children love to wear accessories. Purchase various colored beads and elastic threads from a craft or toy store to make necklaces, bracelets or anklets. This is a wonderful activity that the children will enjoy. Thanks a lot…
