Zoe and Ziya had their second day at the McDonald’s Kiddie Crew workshop today. It was another fun-filled learning experience for the girls. In the Values Formation Lecture, the kids were taught the value of HARD WORK. They also practice the Kiddie Crew theme song again in preparation for their presentation on the last day of the workshop. I think the most fun, though, was the On-Floor Training today.
Yesterday, Zoe was assigned to help out at the counter. Today, she was assigned to help out at the Drive Thru counter. She really had a great time doing it.

Ziya, on the other hand, having finished manning the lobby yesterday, was assigned to the counter.
Ziya at the counter with her new friend, Andrea.

Here, Ziya was taught how to make a Coke float. First, put ice in the cup then add some Coke.

Then, pour some vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup and …. voila!!!! Too bad I wasn’t able to take a photo of her final product though.

Can’t wait for another Kiddie Crew day tomorrow!

  2. Hi! Thanks for visiting and commenting on my blog. I know what you are saying about people assuming blended families do not work – and voicing their opinions! My oldest son is actually my stepson, and when I met my husband he was just a baby. We are not a “blended” family in that I didn’t come into the marriage with children, but I sure did get comments and opinions on why I should not date or get involved with my husband…because he had a child and that would be hard on me and the ex would always be a pain to our marriage and blah blah blah…and it was just never like that! The ex became a close friend of mine, she went on to marry and have 5 other children (making my son the oldest of 14 kids when you throw my other 8 into the mix!) and we all get together every now and then for some family fun. My husband and myself are named on their will to be the guardians of their children if something should happen to them. The way she puts it, “Who else can I trust better than the two people who are raising my other son?” (my stepson has always lived with us) Anyway, it CAN work. People naturally want to warn you and assume the worst for some reason. It’s a shame.

Your family is lovely…so glad to see your blending working:)
