One Fine Friday at the Park

Last Friday, Kai and I decided to take the kids out to the nearest park. It was actually our first time at the park since we first moved here. So, off we went with some snacks and two kites. Kai was hoping to teach the girls how to fly a kite. The kids also wanted to play at the playground. Well, the entire experience wasn’t exactly what we hoped it would be. 

First of all, we found out there was no playground. So, scrap that idea. We could still fly the kites, right? Well, as it turned out, the wide open space was being used by some kids and the village priests. They were playing soccer. The only available space was the parking lot. And so, that’s where Kai and Zoe tried to fly the Hannah Montana kite. Ziya, was at that time, the designated photographer because I couldn’t put down Ziggy since he was sleeping. 

Here’s Kai and Zoe’s attempt at kite flying. The kite flew, alright, but not really that much. Haha. Oh well.

I had to just watch, unfortunately, because Ziggy was sleeping and I didn’t want to put him down on the table. Although, eventually I had to when he pooped. Haha! I actually ran out of baby wipes! Me, of all people. Thankfully, Kai had some in the car. 

Ziya, our designated photographer, was getting jealous that there weren’t any photos taken of herself and so I took a short break from carrying Ziggy and took this photo of her watching the soccer match.

Oh well, maybe our next trip to the park will be more successful.
