Project Yearbook: Week 6

It has been one very hectic week last week for the whole family due to Zoe and Ziya’s McDonald’s Kiddie Crew workshop. Of course this means it was also very hectic for Ziggy. He goes wherever I go meaning half of these photos were taken while we were waiting for the girls at McDonald’s.

First photo was taken in McDonald’s. Ziggy wore his dark blue Funky Feet “sneaker” socks. Aren’t they cute?

 Day 38 was again taken at McDonald’s. Daddy was carrying him here. I just wanted to get a shot of Ziggy wearing his brown dinosaur design T-shirt and shorts ensemble.

In Day 39, I got Ziya to take this photo while I gave Ziggy a bath in his hand-me-down bathtub from Kai’s sister, Cris. Ziggy already has a bathtub actually but this one’s better because it comes with the chair. It’s easier bathing Ziggy this way.

Day 40 was taken during the McDonald’s Kiddie Crew graduation ceremonies. There were lots of people and there was loud music but Ziggy just slept through the whole thing.

On  Day 41, it was kinda cold at night because of the rain (so weird because it’s already summer) so I let Ziggy wear this one piece pajamas for the first time. This is too hot to wear on regular days.

This was also the day his colic got REALLY BAD for the first time. It took us hours to get him to bed and he was just crying so bad, it really broke my heart watching him scream like that. Fortunately, it was a Saturday and Kai was home so I had help with Ziggy. But we felt we needed to do something to help ease the pain and so I asked Ziggy’s pediatrician if she can recommend something. She said to have Ziggy take Restime every 6 hours to help with the gas. Restime is actually Simethicone. It really did help! Ziggy’s colic is not that bad anymore but it hasn’t gone away. I guess we just have to wait a few more months for that to happen.

Day 42 is a photo of Ziggy sleeping in his favorite bouncer, where you’ll find him most of the time. Unfortunately, he’s getting too big for it already. Hopefully, by the time we need to stop using it he’ll finally be willing to sleep in his crib.
