Oh I’d love to talk about this topic. Thinking about it already makes me miss school. I loved school! As someone who started studying at the young age of 2, you’d think I’d be sick of it by now. But nope! After college, I still took my MBA. Honestly, although that ended a couple of years ago, I’m still yearning to enroll again.
Anyway, my favorite subjects have always been English and Literature since grade school. But for this purpose, I’d like to talk about the subjects I took while taking my MBA. As part of the MBA program, students were required to take at least three electives of their choice. I took that as an opportunity to take subjects that are fun and that I’m really interested in. I took subjects under Culture and Arts, namely Introduction to Culture and Arts, Marketing for the Arts and Entertainment as well as Motion Picture Marketing. Oh, I was always so excited to attend those classes! My professors on those subjects were actually cool people and were not bookish. I learned a lot about the culture of different countries as well as the present situation of culture and arts in the country. Some people would probably say they were easy subjects and to some extent I would agree. Unlike the other MBA classes, these subjects were not hard to learn and we didn’t have any quizzes or stuff like that. The main requirement was the final paper, which I found so fun to do. For Motion Picture Marketing though, we were required to watch one movie per week and write a movie review. Isn’t that cool? I just love movies!
Talking about this really makes me miss school! I wanna go back!

  5. Very cool post. I never loved school until I became an adult. Unfortunately I made some bad choices and didn’t go straight into college like I should have.

Since then, I’ve been taking college courses here and there, but it’s much harder to do when I’m a full time mommy to two little girls. One day, I vow to complete my college education though. 🙂

    Many blessings,
    Rosann
