Oh let me just say how grateful I am to have been able to watch this movie for free. Yup, for FREE! Yahoo! This is all thanks to Nuffnang Philippines and PLDT myDSL who sponsored a contest. I was one of the winners of two tickets to watch a special screening of this movie. The Transformers series has always been one of my favorites and so I was especially happy to have won these tickets. Also, it gave me a chance to go out on a date with the hubby, something we haven’t done for a while now with all the hecticness in our daily life. Below is a photo of me taken with Bumblebee right before the screening. Bumblebee is my favorite Autobot and so I really chose to  have my photo taken with him instead of the other Transformers characters outside the theater.
Anyway, this isn’t going to be a hardcore movie review. Most (if not all) of us already know what the Transformers are. Basically, this third installment is a continuation of the last one. This time around, though, the  Decepticons finally continued with their plan of taking over the Earth and of course, it was the Autobots’ job to stop them. This film is the same as its first and second installments in the sense that it’s still action-packed, the graphics are still great and the script is still funny. However, this is even more action-packed. I was hooked to the screen the entire time. Also, they showed more Autobots and Decepticons, making the fight scenes more interesting. A lot of talent and really hard work were obviously put into that, which makes you appreciate the movie even more. There isn’t anything about the film that I didn’t like. I will say, though, that it was kind of disorienting not having Megan Fox in the cast. The actress,  Rosie Huntington – Whiteley, who plays Sam Witwicky’s new girlfriend,Carly, is also sexy though. It just took a little time for me to get used to her being there.

I had a really great time watching the film. In fact, I want to watch it again. My daughters are actually jealous since they didn’t get to watch. Yes, they like the Transformers too. I guess, we’ll just have to get the DVD then.
