1. Adam Duritz (writer and lead sing of Counting Crows) mentions previous girlfriends in songs. In Mrs. Potter’s Lullaby he sings “There a little piece of Maria in every song I sing”. Is there a piece of an ex that will always be a part of you?

Yes, my two daughters and though looking at them makes me think of my ex sometimes, it’s also a reminder that not everything about our relationship was bad. There were a lot of good and obviously I will never regret having my two amazing girls.

2. Who was your very first significant friend?

My very first significant friend is Cris, who I met on the first day of school in fourth grade. We haven’t seen each other since she left for the States after our sixth-grade graduation but we’ve remained friends all these years. We used to keep in touch through letters and greeting cards, then thru email. Now, because of Facebook, we get to be update about each other’s lives more.

3. What are four (4) things you hope to do this weekend?

a) Finish reviewing the girls for their final exams next week
b) Finish all my writing assignments
c) Hear mass
d) Spend quality time with the hubby and baby Ziggy

4. What do you consider to be the main purpose of your blog?

The main purpose is to document our life as a family. Many years from now when my children are older, I want them to read about our family adventures, ups and downs in our blended family and hopefully be able to appreciate everything better. I also like the idea that even when I’m long gone, they will always have memories of our life captured online.

5. Tell us something that you’ve never before written about in your blog because it’s too personal.

I’ve never written about the details of my relationship with my ex-hubby and our eventual separation. It’s part of the past and should stay there. Most of all, it’s very private and I respect his privacy.

6. If you could choose your doctor, do you prefer someone of the same or opposite sex?

It really depends on what kind of doctor. If I was to choose an OB-GYN, I prefer a female. If it’s a just a general doctor, or an ENT or something else, then a male doctor would be fine.

7. If you could dream about anything tonight, what would the subject matter be?

I’d like to dream about traveling to exciting destinations such as Paris and Hawaii.

8. How do you react to practical jokes when they’re played on you?

I try not to let them bother me but sometimes they do. But, I try hard to just laugh about it.

9. What’s on your agenda after this weekend for the upcoming week?

The upcoming week is hectic because my daughters will have their final exams, which means I have to help them review. Then, it will be time to prepare for the Halloween festivities. My kids don’t have costumes yet. Yikes!
