Bamboo Dappy Review and Giveaway!!!

I have always been curious about cloth diapering and have been wanting to try it on Ziggy. I know that it has a lot of benefits, not only to the baby but to the environment as well. However, we haven’t taken the plunge yet because of some concerns we have about it. I was very excited to receive this cloth diaper from Bamboo Dappy.

I was so pleased to note that the material is indeed very, very soft. It’s undoubtedly very gentle to baby’s skin. Before I used it on Ziggy, though, I machine-washed it first. I love the fact that it’s machine washable, which means cleaning it will not be a problem. Plus, it’s environment-friendly compared to disposables. Also, I love the fact that it’s adjustable to fit your baby from infancy up to toddlerhood. Ziggy is almost 20 months old now and the cloth diaper still fits perfectly on him.

Anyway, I used it on him for the first time during the morning that we accompanied my hubby to the doctor. You have the option to either insert the pad inside the pocket opening or just place it on top of the dappy. I chose to just place it on top. I was so happy to note that there weren’t any spills of pee that occurred. It lasted 4 hours before I needed to change him back to disposables. When it was time to change, I just rinsed the diaper off with water and then machine-washed it again afterwards. Easy peasy! Now, the only thing we haven’t tried is to have Ziggy poop in it. Apparently, you just need to discard the solids in the toilet, then you can machine wash the diaper again. Sounds easy enough. I am definitely going to give cloth diapering a serious try!

Bamboo towels are made from 100% bamboo! It’s, of course, still ultra soft on baby’s skin same as the cloth diapers. What’s more is that it’s more absorbent than cotton.
