Yesterday, I was just at home going about my usual household chores when I noticed my hubby working on something on the computer. I knew that he had already finished his latest graphic design project so I was wondering what he was doing designing something else again. I sneaked a peek on what he was doing and saw that he was making what seemed to be a vector of a woman. Huh? He never makes vectors! If he was making one then it had to be for me. I was right!
Later on, he revealed to me the final design of what Roller Coaster Ride’s new logo is going to be. I was floored! I have been wanting to change my logo for so long but just didn’t want to ask him because he’s been so busy with so much stuff already. But without my having to ask him, he designed one for me. He’s truly the best, don’t you agree? And don’t you just like this new logo? It truly reflects a  Roller Coaster Ride. So fitting for my blog and so timely too because this month is Roller Coaster Ride’s 2nd Blogoversary (join my blogoversary giveaway if you haven’t yet!).
I must say, I super like this new logo because I’ve always wanted one with a vector. Haha! It’s really amazing that he decided to make one with a vector because I never even told him that’s what I wanted. My hubby really just has an uncanny ability of reading my mind. He is truly amazing. Plus the vector he made of me is sexy, which I appreciate because I have already gained some weight since we first met. I guess this means he thinks I’m still sexy no matter what. Haha! Oh, love, love, love!
Well, after he made this logo, I told him that I can’t possibly use it without a matching header too (demanding much!). Haha! So he made me one immediately and was done in a matter of minutes. For the header, I just made suggestions on what color combination I wanted and he did everything else.

If you’ve really been paying attention to the old header, you’d notice that the tagline is now different too. It used to be “Ups and Downs In The Life of a Blended Family of Five”. It was that way because when I started this blog, my intention was really to share stories about our experiences as a new blended family. However, I’ve realized that though we do face unique issues, most of the time we are still like a “normal” family, who face all the “normal” things that most families experience. So, I haven’t really been able to share much about blended family experiences in this blog lately.
It was because of that that I began to take a hard look at my blog this past couple of months and realized that it has evolved into a journal of my experiences as a working mom turned stay-at-home mom turned work-at-home mom. Interestingly enough, a lot of you readers have told me that you are inspired by my work-at-home journey and wish that you too can be successful WAHMs. While I don’t consider myself as a super established WAHM yet, I do love the WAHM life and love sharing my journey with you.

So, with that in mind, I have changed the focus of my blog. Though I would still write about our family experiences (this is a personal blog, after all), I’d like to share more of my journey as a WAHM plus more of the stuff that interests me as a WAHM such as events, books, mommy and kiddie products, etc. Thus, I have also changed my tagline to “Rockin’ the Ups and Downs of the WAHM Life”. Just like what I shared in my previous post about learning to rock the WAHM life, WAHMing is not easy. It has lots of ups and downs too, which I really don’t mind because I’m lovin’ the ride.
Why not come and enjoy the ride with me?
