Last Sunday, Zoe and Ziya went off on a bonding day with their dad and his family. I immediately took that as an opportunity to have a bonding day with my boys too – my hubby and Ziggy. I thought it would be nice to go somewhere where Ziggy can be free to play and run. Of course, the first place that came to mind was Terra 28th at Bonifacio Global City. I can no longer count how many times we’ve been there but I don’t really mind.
Here are some of the photos I took of Ziggy and hubby at Terra 28th. Ziggy’s still too young to really enjoy the playground. So, here is hubby helping him out.

Ziggy really enjoys this iguana, which he actually calls a “dinosaur”. Haha!

Father and son….

We took Ziggy to the maze and told him to try and find Daddy. Haha! We didn’t get to finish the game though. Hubby got mad at some kids in the maze who were throwing large rocks at everybody. So dangerous! Good thing the rocks didn’t hit us.

After playing at Terra 28th, we walked along Bonifacio High Street and chanced upon the BGC Hop-On Hop-Off Bus about the leave the main bus stop. We immediately hopped on coz we desperately wanted to sit down. Hehehe….It wasn’t our first time to take the bus tour, though, but it was still a nice experience because Ziggy loves trucks and buses. Here we are inside the bus.

We decided to hop off at the bus stop at the Mind Museum because Ziggy suddenly asked to eat at Jollibee. Since there was a new Jollibee branch outside Mind Museum, that’s where we decided to go. We actually saw the Science Park just beside Jollibee. It looks like such a fun place to visit with the kids. Will go there with the girls next time.
After eating, we waited for the bus to arrive so we can go back to High Street. We waited at the Mind Museum garden and took these photos.

Ziggy likes making cutesy faces when his photo is being taken. So cute, really. But here’s one where Daddy is also  making the same pose. Haha! So funny!

Of course, I had to be in some of the photos too!

After going back to High Street, we started looking for a place to have dinner. Hubby suggested we try Singapore Food Republic, which is a new restaurant that opened near his office just several streets away. So, we got the car and drove there.
Here’s a photo of the place mat. The food in the menu all looked so yummy!

Since Ziggy wanted noodles, as usual, hubby ordered him this wanton noodle soup, served in a large bowl. This was actually part of a budget meal, wherein you get to choose one item from the drink, main dish and dessert sections. Hubby chose this plus a siopao and a Tea Tarek.

I, on the other hand, chose a pricier viand. Haha! I saw the photo of the Beef Rendang and I just couldn’t resist. I am such a meatlover! The actual Beef Rendang did not disappoint. It’s one of the best I’ve ever taste. I love it!

Singapore Food Republic is a nice, cozy place to have a meal with your family and friends. They only have a few tables. The area is quiet and so you can really enjoy eating. Another great thing is the owner, who was the friendly guy (I’m assuming he’s Singaporean!) who offered to take our family photo below. He was so nice and was quite taken with Ziggy. It would be nice to go back there again soon.
How did you guys spend your weekend? I hope you had a blast!
