One of the ways we forge our connection and bond as a family is through watching movies. Whether it’s in a theater or just watching DVDs at home, we just LOVE watching films. So, when PLDT invited us to attend a blocked screening of the movie “Heaven is for Real, of course we said yes.

Here’s a photo of me and Ziggy together with fellow blogger friends Millie and Michelle with Michelle’s son, taken right before the movie screening.

To share with you what the movie is all about, here’s the summary based on their official site.

Based on the #1 New York Times best-selling book of the same name, HEAVEN IS FOR REAL brings to the screen the true story of a small-town father who must find the courage and conviction to share his son’s extraordinary, life-changing experience with the world.

The film stars Academy Award® nominee and Emmy® award winning actor Greg Kinnear as Todd Burpo and co-stars Kelly Reilly as Sonja Burpo, the real-life couple whose son Colton (newcomer Connor Corum) claims to have visited Heaven during a near death experience. Colton recounts the details of his amazing journey with childlike innocence and speaks matter-of-factly about things that happened before his birth… things he couldn’t possibly know. Todd and his family are then challenged to examine the meaning from this remarkable event.

We really loved the movie because it speaks of love for family, trust and faith. It’s also about relationships and connections – with your spouse, your kids, your friends, your community and with God. Isn’t that exactly what life is all about?

It was a really great movie for PLDT HOME DSL because they are known for  providing limitless sharing with STRONG, RELIABLE FAMILY-SIZED CONNECTION. This is why we only use PLDT at home.

There are a lot of gadgets at our house and most of the time, everybody’s online at the same time. I’ll be using my laptop for work and blogging, and I’ll be using my phone to post photos on Instagram. Hubby will be on his tablet watching movies or checking on Facebook updates. My girls will be either on their phones or their iPad, watching YouTube videos. Ziggy, as well, will be using his own tablet, playing games or using his learning apps. Obviously, we really need a strong, reliable family-sized connection for all of that. Luckily, PLDT HOME DSL gives families like us what we need.

I’m sure there are a lot of families out there who need the same thing, just like this family on the TVC.

Yup, I have no doubt that you’ve already seen the Ledesma family on this latest TVC launched recently by PLDT HOME DSL. It features this uber bright, handsome and witty seven-year-old boy, Diego, who has tens of thousands of fans on his advice column on Facebook, “Ask Diego”.

The Ledesmas are the ideal example of today’s tight-knit,young, urban family, who enjoys doing things together online using multiple gadgets simultaneously to help each other out.  PLDT HOME DSL’s limitless and reliable family-sized connection really comes in handy for this family. This kind of strong connection helps keeps the family together, in more ways than one.

Have you checked out Ask Diego yet? If you haven’t already, do so now. You may wonder how exactly does Diego answer all those questions sent to him. What’s a seven-year-old doing on Facebook anyway?

Don’t you worry because the Ledesma parents monitor the page constantly. Since Diego has started receiving so many questions on various topics such as love, studies, bullying and even vacation and business ideas, Daddy Paolo and Mommy Lara has taken it upon themselves to delete already the offensive content before Diego even sees the questions. They also help Diego type out the answers especially on how to spell certain words. Ate Trisha also helps Diego out with ideas on how to answer some of the questions. So, if you have a question in mind, then #letsaskdiego!
