One of the things Kai and I love to do is to eat out and explore new restaurants. We haven’t done much exploring lately because everything is just so hectic in our life right now. So, it was really such a nice surprise to have had the time to have lunch out in a nice restaurant last Friday with Kai and Ziggy. Zoe and Ziya were in school and so they weren’t with us then. We were actually out for errands and for Kai’s check-up (he has been sick for the past couple of days). Since the clinic we went to was at the Trinoma mall, we took that as an opportunity to explore since we don’t get to visit this place that often because it’s pretty far from our home.
Anyway, we LOVE Japanese food and we’ve been dying to try Yakimix. Good thing there was a Yakimix branch in Trinoma. We got their buffet, of course and pretty much stuffed ourselves with all our favorites. The buffet was pretty pricey but it was all worth it with the amount of food we got to eat.
Being pregnant with Ziggy last year up to early this year, I couldn’t eat my favorite food, sushi. So, of course I took this opportunity to eat lots of it. So yummy!
Baby Ziggy couldn’t eat of course but he had his milk to keep him full. Hehehe!
We also took full advantage of the grill that was right there on our table. Very tasty food! Here’s Kai cooking.

I almost forgot to get some tempura. Thankfully, I remembered right before I took my dessert. I LOVE tempura!

For dessert, Kai had three scoops of ice cream with toppings while I found some room in my tummy to eat this yummy chocolate mousse, which Ziggy also wanted to devour!

We just love, love, LOVE Japanese food!
