Disconnected

I have been feeling very disconnected with the world lately. I already don’t get to go out of the house much and now it’s even worse. About two weeks ago, our phone line suddenly went dead. For some reason, it suddenly did not have a dial tone at all. Nobody can call us and obviously, we also can’t make any calls. It didn’t really bother me at first because it has happened to us a few times in the past already due to the super poor service of our service provider. However, what made it worse is the fact that we also lost our Internet connection last Thursday. Argh!

Right now I’m using my MIL’s laptop, which is connected to the WIFI at the office downstairs. If not for this, I will not be able to go online at all. I know that for some, not being online for a few days is nothing but for a stay-at-home mom like me whose only connection to the outside world are the TV and Internet, it’s torture! Without the Internet I can’t blog and I can’t respond to any inquiries or proposals for my blog. I also can’t take advantage of online work opportunities. I also can’t connect much with what’s happening with my friends. I know I can still use my cellphone to text or call them, but somehow it’s not the same as chatting over at Facebook (hehehe). 

Oh well, I’m just ranting. It really just sucks to be offline. So, my dear readers, if you’re wondering why I’m not blogging as much, well, you now know the reason why.
