Now that I’m scaling back on work and have more time on my hands, I’ve decided that it’s high time I spend more time on this blog. Admittedly, blogging has taken a back seat during the last several months when my work life suddenly became more hectic.

So, if you’ve noticed, I’ve been blogging more these past couple of weeks. I’ve actually filled up a whole page of blog post ideas and have used some of them already.

I guess, though, the most obvious thing you’ll see are the changes on this blog’s look. Those of you who have been following me since before I migrated to WordPress would have noticed that I initially didn’t use my header after the move. That was because I couldn’t find a design template that I liked. I also didn’t have the time yet to tweak anything. So, I decided to use a premade template first, which was actually pretty in pink and black. However, it just wasn’t me. It just wasn’t Roller Coaster Ride. Get my drift?

So, now that I have time to tweak stuff, I finally found myself a template that I can work with that works well with my header. I customized lot of the details too so that I can use colors and widgets that I like. I was finally able to put my header back where it belongs. Haha! The most recent change is the font, which I am not completely happy about  yet. So, you might see a change in that within the next couple of days too. Haha!

I was thinking of hiring someone to do a complete makeover on my blog design. However, I’m quite sentimental about my header, which my hubby made for me last year without me even asking him to. So, I’m still torn about that. You’ll eventually find out what I decide.

For now, here’s Roller Coaster Ride’s new look. It took hours and hours and hours for it to look like this. What do you think of the new look?

  1. Definitely looks much better Janice. Wish my own hubby can do some graphic design for me, too. LOL! I’m also in the process of migration but still looking for blog design. God bless you, Janice!
