I’ve been meaning to blog about this since last week but life has been so busy lately with work and family matters that I just can’t seem to find time to blog. I finally found a few minutes right now to squeeze in a quick post about the Planners and Journals October Planner Kit.

Some of you might remember the feature I wrote about Planners and Journals last July. I wrote about the first ever ring planner I got from them as well as their July planner kit. Well, since then I’ve been meaning to purchase another planner kit from them but wanted to wait until they release a theme that I really, really, really love.

You see, every month they release a planner kit full of planner goodies. They usually work with other artists and makers to come up with goodies under one central theme. This month’s theme is Paris and after seeing the sneak peek, I knew I just couldn’t pass it up.

Here’s what’s inside the kit.

See what I mean? Everything is just so pretty! I love all of them!

Planners and Journals got Cynthia Renard (also known as @lovecynthia on Instagram), who’s a Paris-based artist, to be their guest artist for this month’s kit. All the Parisienne designs came from her. She’s so good. I really love looking at her IG feed.

Anyway, let me show you a closer look of all the items starting with the card stock and the inserts.

Now you have to understand that when you subscribe for a kit you have to tell PNJ if you want one for use in ring planner or a travelers notebook (TN). Since I wanted to use mine in my new standard size fauxdori (or TN), I ordered the one meant for it. So, in the photo, you can see two standard size TN inserts. If you order the one for ring planners, you’ll get a different set of inserts meant for that.

Anyway, I was expecting the inserts to both have blank paper inside. So, I was surprised when I opened one and found that it actually had decorated pages with monthly, weekly, daily and notes pages to write on.

They’re really, really cute. However, since I’m already using a weekly layout as my calendar inside my A5 faux dori, I knew I wouldn’t be using this one so I ended up giving it to my daughter. The second insert though contained only blank sheets so I decided to use it as my journal  for October.

Below are several journal cards that I am so excited to use already. There were 4 pieces each of 3 x 4 and 4 x 6 journaling cards.

The kit also includes 1 pack of Ephemeras, 1 pack of wood veneers made by @windelwoodcraft, 2 sheets of planner stickers by @theworldoffraffee, 1 small Cynthia pillow by Old Balara Livelihood Program and 1 tassel charm by @tali_ti_amianan.

I’m really, really happy with this month’s kit. I love the theme and couldn’t wait to start using them already. If you want to see how I use them, do follow my planner/journal Instagram account.

This box is so worth it, to think I only paid Php 700 for it. I’m really excited to see what next month’s theme will be!
